Optional Weekend Trips

Optional weekend trips are available for both day and boarding students. These trips allow students to explore some of Europe’s most intriguing and interesting places. Each trip is chaperoned and all program rules and regulations are enforced. Participating in optional weekend trips means that a student cannot go on the normal full- and half-day excursions planned for those dates.

For safety reasons and to ensure a quality experience, spaces are limited and enrollment is handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once a trip is full students will be put on a waiting list. Students may choose to go on more than one trip during a session. If a student withdraws after a trip is planned, no refund can be made unless a replacement student is found at least a week prior to departure.

Students must have multiple-entry tourist visas for trips to the Schengen area.

Trips are at an extra cost and a student is not confirmed until payment has been received.

Cultural Trips
These trips combine visits to sites of cultural and historical significance with some free time for students to browse and shop in groups of two. Students stay in centrally-located hotels in rooms of 2-4 students with a private bath or shower. The cost of each trip includes transportation, meals, guided tours, and entrance fees for museums and attractions on the itinerary. School rules remain in force on all trips, and it is essential that students conduct themselves in a mature and responsible manner, especially in their hotels. A more detailed itinerary for each trip is available upon request. The itineraries below are subject to change without notice as conditions warrant.
